MONTEFALCO SAGRANTINO

Red wine with great structure and characterized by full-bodied and deep taste. Very persistent in mouth with a very pronounced vanilla note. Ideal with roast meats, game meat, seasoned cheeses and salumi and cold pork meat.

Vinification

Maceration on the grapes’ skins for 15 days at controlled and even temperature, 25°C, with various daily wine-pressing especially in first days

 

Aging

50% 12 months in French oak tonneaux and 50% in stainless (INOX) tanks and then 4 months in bottle

18°-20° C
